Ads are coming to Netflix just in a way you would not expect

 

According to Netflix's Co-Ceo, Ted Sarandos, there will be Ads on Netflix just the way you probably did not anticipate.

Instead, there will be a different tier with Ads supported.

In March1 Chief Financial Officer of Netflix (Spencer Neumann)  was asked about the Ad-based tier coming to Netflix and he replied "Never Say Never." But when asked about the idea, he quickly added, "Well, it's not something in the company's plan right now."

According to the reports from Techradar, on April 20, Reed Hastings, Netflix's other Co-CEO, revealed that Netflix is quite open to the possibility of an ad support tier and that it could be a viable option for the company's future.
